Rahim Yar Khan, a group of bandits attacked two police vans with rockets, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 police officers and injuring 6 others in Machka. The attack happened when the officers were returning from duty, but their vans got stuck due to rainwater.
At the time of the attack, around 20 officers were in the police vehicles. The dacoits used a rocket to strike the vehicles near Mackha area. After the attack, police and rescue teams from across the district rushed towards Kachy. The police officers were returning home after duty when the attack happened. Following the assault, 4 officers went missing, and both police vehicles got stuck in rainwater.
