Lahore High Court Declares a Holiday on August 31. According to the official notification issued by the High Court, all civil and session courts in Kasur will remain closed on Saturday, August 31.

The Registrar of the High Court, Abhar Gul, issued this notification following approval from the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court. Previously, the district administration proclaimed a local holiday in Kasur on August 31 to commemorate the Urs of Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah.

Captain (R) Aurangzeb Haider Khan, the Deputy Commissioner of Kasur, has issued a notification announcing that Saturday, August 31, will be a municipal holiday.

The three-day Urs celebrations are scheduled to attract a large number of religious intellectuals, who will discuss various elements of the famed Sufi saint’s life and teachings. Devotees and admirers from across the country congregate at Baba Bulleh Shah’s shrine to honour his spiritual legacy.

The celebrations feature a variety of cultural and religious activities, such as poetry readings, musical performances, and spiritual gatherings, all of which reflect the region’s strong Sufi traditions.
