It’s important to remember that students have an additional opportunity to chill out as there is a vacation on Monday, after two days of straight off. This additional time off gives teachers and pupils a much-needed relaxation, allowing them to return to their studies feeling rejuvenated and prepared to tackle their job.
On Friday, the Sindh Education Department declared that all public and private schools in the province would be closed on Monday, August 26th, in honor of Imam Hussain (RA). This decision was made to ensure that everyone may fully participate in this significant religious event.
The Steering Committee of the Education Department made this decision, and an official notification has been issued. The Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) occurs 40 days after the Day of Ashura and is a highly significant event in Islamic history. Every year, it is observed with deep religious respect and devotion. Given the importance of the day, strict security arrangements will be in place across the province to maintain order.
