Gold prices in Pakistan rose somewhat on the last day of the week, reaching Rs262,500 per tola.
According to figures from the Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs1,000 per tola, reaching Rs262,500.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs857, to Rs225,051.
Despite a decline in the world gold market, where prices fell $13 per ounce to $2,503, local gold prices increased.
